Energy is expected for the existence of the universe and source of it is the sun. The major problem experienced in all the country is the non-availability of synthetic and fossil fuels. If the country’s which low availability in fuels can prove their economy by following the non conventional energy sources such as solar energy, wind energy, Geothermal energy and etc..,
Solar air heater is a device which is used to produce the hot air for any industrial or farmer level drying application by heat energy received from the sun, without using any conventional fuels like diesel, LPG, coal. Firewood etc.., But it could be coupled with an existing conventional drying system like Tray driers, Tunnel driers, conveyor drier, FBD drier and Bin drier operated by conventional fuels to save fuel consumption.
There are no pollution in this type of systems .There are two main solar thermal systems one is solar water heater and another one is solar air heater. Solar air heating provides a supplementary heating to the air in a room during day times. In this project waste cool drink cans are used. The cans are made up of aluminum. There is the heating material of the air heater.
Using the sun to heat the water is a very cost effective way to save energy. Typically payback on even the most expensive systems is under ten years, with diy solar water heaters paying for themselves in just a few months. Similar techniques can be used to make a solar space heater - a device which warms the air inside a room or building
